Watercolor, ink, gouache Framed in 16x13” In Your Wildest Imagination SOLE, my character often depicted wearing a red and white striped shirt, embarks on the journey of self-discovery. While in pursuit of creative ideas and charting the dark recesses of our imagination, explorations lead face-to-face with the fantastic beasts and surreal situations of our subconscious. Beasts depicted in mythological stories often embody both the beautiful and the frightening nature of the unknown. Uncovered during my painting process, beasts depict the mystery that is our creative consciousness, gatekeeping the passage to our greatest ideas.
