The All Seeing, 30x40”

These were painted just after having my show at Sarah Gormley Gallery in a time of "what's next?", a time that's typically pretty daunting for myself. When preparing for a show it takes a good amount of time, anywhere from 6 months to a year is a pretty solid block dedicated to exploring new ideas, trying new things, and lots of introspection. 

These paintings are the embodied visualization for that process. They were made by going straight from idea to canvas with paint, sketchbook to canvas, or reference photos taken on my vacation to Hungary.
